respecting each other
Migrants, especially those who have fled war, civil war and terror, misery and hopelessness, bring with them not only their negative and incisive experiences of life and their fears and insecurities, but also their ideal values, needs, qualifications and hopes. These are in many ways different from those of our host country. This means that migrants arrive in our country with this ideal "baggage" and continue to carry it with them. In order to integrate and thus become settled, it is necessary to get to know each other. Respect, tolerance of ambiguity, recognition and authentic interaction are the pillars of this process. The aim is to live together in a respectful manner.
learning from each other
In Germany - as in many other countries - different population groups live side by side. Some are born, raised or socialised in this country. The others are those who have come to this country as "groups" or individuals, but who are assigned to a group. One of the larger groups that have entered the country is fugitives or new immigrants, subsumed under the term migrants. They have grown up in one or more other countries, are socialised and speak other languages. This means that there are various different groups among the immigrant people.
The knowledge that we learn lifelong, that we learn from each other and much more easily through encounters is another goal: to learn together and from each other.
collaborations
The seminars and workshops were developed on the basis of experience gained in practical work in this field. This means that content and methodology have been developed on the basis of the current needs of refugees and migrants. I would like to continue this development and strengthen it through cooperation with other partners.
